Paola began to work as a photographer in London in 1999, after completing her studies in graphic design at the Camberwell College of Arts. She moved to Barcelona in 2003, and since then she has contributed to publications such as The Guardian, Yo Dona, Fuera de Serie, El Magazine, El Mundo, and Marie Claire. At the same time, she has produced her personal projects, which have earned her awards such as FotoPress ’07 (Obra Social “la Caixa,” Barcelona) and the Premio Marco Pesaresi 2009 (Italy). Her projects have been published in photography journals such as OjodePez and exhibited at festivals such as Getxo Photo. Paola is represented by the gallery 3 Punts in Barcelona, which has exhibited her work at venues and festivals such as the CaixaForum, Photo Miami, Berliner Liste, and Art Madrid.
